INVESTOR EXPO 2008

We are proud to present to you INVESTOR EXPO 2008 brought to you by Malaysian Investor Relations Association (MIRA) in collaboration with ShareInvestor, with primary sponsorship of Bursa Malaysia, CIMB and OSK. The event will run over a 3-day period (16, 17 and 18 October 2008) at the KL Convention Centre. Day 1 will be for institutional investors and Day 2 & 3 will be an expo open to the retail public.

On Day 1 (16 October 2008) 20 public-listed companies, specifically mid and small cap companies selected by Bursa, CIMB and OSK from a variety of sectors, will conduct corporate briefings to invited analysts and fund managers. This briefing serves as a platform and collective opportunity for these selected companies to present their investment merits to the investment community.

Day 2 & 3 (17 & 18 October 2008) is a public expo targeted towards retail investors. The expo will be held at Exhibition Hall 5, Ground Level, Kuala Lumpur Convention & Exhibition Centre, from 10am to 8pm. With over 40 seminars, a lucky draw with attractive prizes as well as panel discussions with captains of listed companies moderated by NTV7 presenter Fairul Reeza, the EXPO is expected to draw a crowd of over 10,000 visitors.

INVESTOR EXPO 2008 serves as the ideal platform for investors to learn more about the latest financial products and services, identify investment trends, understand the market outlook; and to hear from the experts as to how, where, when and what to invest in especially in the current volatile investment climate. Admission is free and the ticket would be available on the day of the event.
