The Inaugural Certification Ceremony Of Certificate In Investor Relations (CIR) By MIRA On 05 August 2010

The Association conducts the Certificate in Investor Relations professional examination in collaboration with the Investor Relations Society, United Kingdom. To date, 53 Investor Relations Officers have completed the CIR examination.

The aim of the Examination is to ensure an appropriate level of factual knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and of the financial and market environment, which will enable the Investor Relations (IR) practitioners to operate competently and safely. This will in turn help public listed companies identify and source for IR professionals, to help staff their IR function and enhance the quality of their IR efforts, thereby facilitating greater levels of communication and engagement with the investment community.

05 August 2010 marks a milestone for MIRA and 53 CIR graduates as we are going to hold the inaugural certification ceremony of the CIR, in recognition of the graduates as Certified Investor Relations Officers. Our Guest of Honour for the Certification Ceremony will be YBhg. Datuk Ranjit Ajit Singh, Managing Director of Securities Commission Malaysia and he will be accompanied by YBhg. Dato' Yusli Mohamed Yusoff, CEO of Bursa Malaysia Berhad,and Ms. Audrey Ho, MIRA Chairman.
